A recent Swiss anti-gun rights lobby poster that portrays Swiss Militia as raving psychopaths.

"An initiative by the Socialists, Pacifist and Feminist groups who wanted to prevent ex-army men *(males only?) from retaining a firearm at home following their decommision from Switzerland's Obligatory term in their armed forces, has been overturned."

Well, we know there are upsides as well as down sides, I've had a gun or two waved at me, but generally, ex-service people, ex Swiss Militia in this case, can no doubt more often be trusted with these weapons than Joe (public) Jackass.

Again another anti-guns rights and anti-self defence campaign bites the dust.

They gave this issue a real hard sell on the media. Trying to make out that since Switzerland is surrounded by the benevolant facist european union, that it was illogical to have a militia.

This is to forget the last war, with the last benevolant european union under the last maniac.
