Two homemade bombs exploded outside the White House Police Department early this morning.

Two police officers and a Tennessee Highway Patrol officer were inside the building in Robertson County conducting a training exercise when the bombs went off at 1:30 a.m., according to a news release.

No one was injured and there are no suspects.

The Fire Marshall and police requested the help of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Officials are investigating whether this explosion, is related to a similar incident on the 200 block of Orchard Park in White House on July 26.

WHITE HOUSE, Tenn. -- Officials with the White House Police Department said two homemade bombs exploded outside the city's police department at about 1:30 a.m. Monday.

Two White House police officers and a Tennessee Highway Patrol Officer were inside the police department conducting a training exercise at the time of the explosion.

No injuries were reported.

There are no suspects, but officials are trying to determine whether this explosion, is related to a similar incident that happened in July. Police were called to 204 Orchard Park in White House on July 26 to investigate a bomb explosion.
