... as a "Consciousness Raising Exercise". See Below.
— Now that takes the biscuit. Where do they think they are: Berkeley Campus in 1970?
A 'Conscience Raising Exercise' would be a more apt term, I think. For it's a Gross human Negligence and lack of Caring of what goes on, what crimes are permitted, and are alllowed to be covered over by the News Media which is where the problems have lain for at least 7 years.

Evidence heard in Public Questions 1 - 50
This is an uncorrected transcript of evidence taken in public and reported to the House. The transcript has been placed on the internet on the authority of the Committee, and copies have been made available by the Vote Office for the use of Members and others.
Any public use of, or reference to, the contents should make clear that neither witnesses nor Members have had the opportunity to correct the record. The transcript is not yet an approved formal record of these proceedings.
Members who receive this for the purpose of correcting questions addressed by them to witnesses are asked to send corrections to the Committee Assistant.
Prospective witnesses may receive this in preparation for any written or oral evidence they may in due course give to the Committee.)

Mark Pritchard: I recently asked a Minister, who some people might expect to know, what the five threat levels were and he struggled. I confess, as probably the most junior Member of this Committee, that I might struggle as well. It would be unfair to ask you to name those five levels. However, if you want to volunteer, you can.

Sir Kim Darroch: I thought that your iteration was extremely generous and I am going to take advantage of it, if I may.

Mark Pritchard: Thank you, but I hope that I have made the point that it is complex. I am sure that you know, but if Ministers and even junior MPs like me, and perhaps people within the civil contingencies secretariat or even support staff at the National Security Council, do not know, then certainly Mr and Mrs Jones down the Dog & Duck or walking down Whitehall will not know. They should know in order that they become more aware and more alert, especially as we face the Olympics.
Sir Kim Darroch: You have illustrated you point very effectively.

Mark Pritchard: Thank you.

Lord Harris of Haringey: Let me move on to a slightly different issue. The Home Secretary has talked about considering the best form of organisation for counterterrorism within the UK, particularly in terms of policing, once the Olympics are out of the way, which is now not very far away. There has certainly been a lot of discussion about whether counterterrorism policing might move into the new National Crime Agency.

Will this be a matter for the National Security Council, or will it simply be left to the Home Office and the
Home Secretary? What do you see as being the main principles that ought to underpin such considerations?

Sir Kim Darroch: On whether the issue will brought to the National Security Council, I cannot give an absolute guarantee as I do not know the answer to that. I expect that, if the Home Secretary has proposals about how we do counterterrorism post the Olympics, whether for formal agreement or simply as a consciousness-raising or information exercise, they will feature on the National Security Council’s agenda.

It's 5 am, and I really should be in my bed.

- But I thought a look into the latest National Security Strategy Documents since the 2008/9 Pandemic Flu predictions came true, to see what's in the offing from 'this lot', and what might be interesting re the Empire's Proud New Trojan Weapon against London's Security of Credibility as Cosmopolitan Centre and Once proud Capitol, - of a Fully Militarised Gladiatorial Olympiad, replete with implemented Martial Law by Proxy, Foreign Troops incursion, and ...

... As you can see, if you can read that is, THE OLYMPICS is a WATERSHED, for ANTI-TERRORISM strategies. They are debating within the confines of their limited consciences, departmentalised abilities and self-serving interests, what will happen AFTER THE OLYMPICS. Clearly since the Staged 7/07 False-Flag attack courtesy of Visor Consultants and Private Demolition Companies, and since the Assassination of Jean-Charles de Menezes at Stockwell tube stn, there has opened a 'whole new Vista of Possibilities for us', to quote some Pre-9/11 High-Ranker known as George W. Bush Senior.

Yes, it really is that bad, my dears, in The British National Security Departments. It really is this bad.

It's the Seventh Anniversary of The London July 07 Tube-Bombings and Bus explodings in a week's time.

— ('Watershed' - quite possibly literally, with possible Thames/Southern flooding predicted.)
