It is a microwave frequency between 1.25 and 1.36 gigahertz.

That's 1.25 x 10^9 and 1.3636363636 x 10^9 cycles per second.

For a few weeks I've been accumulating bits for a Voice/Digital Moonbounce system for 432Mhz. (70cm) This will allow me, at a great stretch, one day, using either a long yagi or homebrew(?) dish antenna to exploit the ~2.6 second Earth - Moon - Earth return path to send my or YOUR short message - "Hello Moon, I'm Rebeletarian!"

What do you think; you like the sound of that instead?

Easy Pees, Lemon Squeezie. Plug n' Play, Point and Talk; what could be difficult about this!

Really, I'm not kidding. If we can't go there in person, we will get to hear our voice or Text type Message on E-M-E echoes. Many people do it all the time, but not relaying greetings messages via the moon, that's never been thought of ...

As for the Hutch effect. I don't want to get into all that blowing up the local Bathtubs and melting the Neighbour's dog stuff that Hutchison says he's always fearful of hearing from his neighbours.

No, today marks a suitable landmark in my personal MOONSHOT plans, no question, and I can only hope that it's true that the Shuttles' last Women Astronaut actually did say 'Hello' to me yesterday ...

I encourage you to try but this is something we need to do.

Ask them for technical support if you do make contact.

We were given a type of aircraft by Venusian contacts.

We need to show them that Earth humanity is space-worthy.

We'd be a lot further along if not for the stinginess of banks and the idiocy of Americans when it comes to economics.    :(

Look, I was not planning on 'avin' a conversation with the little Green Men made of Cheese living on the Dark-side of the Moon, - Customer Support Hotline.

But it just goes to show, - you never know who'll turn up in these forums....

There is a thriving civilization on the planet Venus.

The capital is called Retz.
