Whilst a good 30-min job in of itself, this programme on the prospects of the slow introduction (over generations perhaps even) of 'The Cashless Society', just fails to even mention a core issue around the suggestion of such a 'society': namely not being able to hold or stash or do anything physical with 'my own money, which I own, that is mine and which I trade, negotiate and purchase by'.

Surely the idea of a future cashless society, perhaps not so far off as the 'experts' would have us believe is an open sign of a master and slave, Elite and Serfdom culture ...

But the BBC still think that it is above your station to think in this way ... apparently and the issues addressed remain around not sovereign right to have my own money but my human fraility and need to collect and possess physical objects. Nice try Beebos but Cash as a means of transaction is a vital component of a free and civilised society where peoples monetary power does not exist entirely in virtual only electronic form and also in the hands of fat-cat bankers.
