According to what I'm now watching on CNBC, the Egyptian Revolution is disrupting the Egyptian economy!

I mean, come on now!

The Egyptian economy, as it stood before the protests began, failed to feed the Egyptian people.

What purpose (unless you're a Super Bowl-addicted American) does an economy serve beyond feeding the people?

WHOSE ECONOMIC INTERESTS ARE BEING DISRUPTED BY THE EGYPTIAN REVOLUTION?

WHO HAS BEEN EATING ON BEHALF OF THE EGYPTIAN PEOPLE DURING THE PERIOD OF THEIR HUNGER?
