Constitution Party News and Information 1/14/2011

Important State Meetings In
Arizona, Iowa and Florida This Weekend!

Arizona Constitution Party Organizational Meeting

[NOTE: The following is a message sent by Arizona CP Chairman, Mark Hubler. Please forward to all friends, family and associates in Arizona who are members or supporters of the Constitution Party.]

The meeting will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in West Phoenix. The hotel is located at 1650 N. 95th Lane, Phoenix, AZ 85037. This location has easy access from I-10 and A-101. Here is a link from their website with directions: http://www.marriott.com/hotels/maps/travel/phxsw-courtyard-phoenix-west-avondale/
I hope to see you all there at 2:00 pm on Saturday. If you have not sent me an RSVP, please do so. At this time, there is still room for more to attend.

Also, please remember that in order to vote for officers or hold a position, you will need to show proof of your party affiliation. Your AZ Voter ID card is the best way to do that (it may not show you registered with any other organized party in AZ). Since we are not ballot-qualified as a party, your card needs to read “Undetermined,” “Independent,” or “Pending.”

I hope to see you Saturday!

If you have trouble locating the hotel on Saturday, please call my mobile phone at (623)363-6825, and someone will help you.

For Freedom,
Mark Hubler
Chairman
Constitution Party of Arizona

Florida Constitution Party State Organizational Meeting

This extremely important state organizational meeting of the Constitution Party of Florida is set for Saturday, January 15. It will commence at 10AM and is expected to run until approximately 5PM. The meeting place at the Spring of Life Health Spa & Business offices, located at 174A Suite 113, Semoran Commerce Blvd. inApopka, FL 32703.

Agenda items will include election of new state executive committee members, adoption of state by-laws and making plans and setting goals for the Constitution Party in Florida for 2011 and 2012.

Bernie De Castro, who, in 2010, was the first candidate to qualify for the ballot for the US Senate in Florida on the Constitution Party, will address the meeting. De Castro is an inspirational and informative speaker who did an outstanding job representing the Constitution Party in last years US Senate race. His continued presence, activity and leadership with the Constitution Party bodes well for the party's future in the Sunshine State.

Special thanks are due to Richard Wilmot for his valuable work in organizing this meeting. For further information on the meeting, please email Bernie De Castro at bernie@berniedecastro.com.

From Ballot Access News...
Constitution Party County Commissioner Chosen Chair of the White Pine County, Nevada Commission!

White Pine County Courthouse in Ely

January 12th, 2011

On January 3, John Lampros was chosen Chairman of the White Pine County, Nevada County Commission. Lampros had been elected a member of that Commission in a partisan election on November 2, 2010. He was the nominee of the Independent American Party, which is the Constitution Party affiliate in Nevada. Lampros is the highest-ranking elected official from the Constitution Party anywhere in the nation, since the party had a state legislator, Rick Jore, in Montana. See this story. Thanks to Cody Quirk for the link.

White Pine County is in eastern central Nevada, bordering Utah. The county seat and largest town in the county is Ely.

Congratulations to John Lampros!!!
