Ed Asner

Alex returns to the airwaves with an interview of film, television, and stage actor Ed Asner, who will talk about the current state of national and world affairs. Asner is famed for his portrayal of Lou Grant, the hard-bitten newspaper editor on the popular television series of the same name. Asner is the only actor to win Emmys for both Comedy and Drama. His show was pulled from CBS after he signed a letter seeking to raise funds for medical aid to rebels in El Salvador in 1982. Alex also confronts the latest breaking news and takes your calls.
