I've often noticed that web searches on my part are often reflected in the advertisements that pop up in the heading of this forum, like the time I was researching an industrial-scale bread-dough mixer, and an advertisement for precisely the mixer I was most interested in appeared in the heading of this forum. (I'm assuming that other forum participants get their particular interests advertised to them in the same manner.)
