... Tory HQ occupied.
....  Bonfires started on the Millbank ....
.... Smells like Teen Spirit ... or Mere Symptoms of what is to come ..
.... Metropolitan Police taken completely by surprise .... But no jack booted solution in sight ....

... For although it's not a metaphorical re-enactment of the storming of The Bastille, Paris (symbol of tyranny, home of torture and icon of feudalistic rule) it could be a start.
... Besides, there were only 4 prisoners in the Bastille at the time and the reason the people stormed that, was actually to get the explosives that were stored in that edifice.

History lesson over. Now back to the future.

In an overnight response (made up on the fly) to the Trouble at Millbank student riots IDS (Ian Duncan Smith) is announcing a massive draconian 'punishment regime' for the supposedly sympathetic camp of the unemployed, .... anyone on work related benefits will get 3 years suspension of all benefits if they don't comply...

Just on Tuesday, I was warning an unemployed part-time MsC maths student of how the forced-labour plans proposed just last week would go from 1-month to 3, then to six-months and then full-time as you can read also on these forums.

Now, out of the blue entirely this is what IDS has just announced today, Thursday, just four days after the SUNDAY announcement of 1-month forced labour and 3-month penalties benefit seizure.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2010/nov/11/welfare-iain-duncan-smith

"Ian Duncan Smith, the work and pensions secretary, said today it was a "sin" that people failed to take up available jobs as he prepared to announce a tougher-than-expected squeeze on the unemployed.

This will see the jobless face the threat of losing all benefits for as long as three years if they refuse community work or the offer of a job, or fail to apply for a post if advised to do so.

In the most severe welfare sanctions ever imposed by a British government, unemployed people will lose benefits for three months if they fail to take up one of the options for the first time, six months if they refuse an offer twice, and three years if they refuse an offer three times."

We haven't even had a hint of the organisation of a sympathy movement between the students and the unemployed yet.

Organise now or you will all, even those who haven't lost their jobs yet, because these laws will be extended to include the SHORT-TERM unemployed from certain categories of civilian class within a short time, although this is being denied by the DWP, a spokeswoman for whom attempted to appease and assuage such fears on BBC Radio Two today by stipulating that the "upto 3-Yrs loss of ALL BENEFITS" term (Labour Camp?) will only affect those who refuse full-time employment. Those on 16 hrs or less, work per week, which is defined as Part-Time, will not be affected by these DRACONIAN OPPRESSIVE MEASURES. Or will they? Will IDS draught another bill in his sleep, and rush it through Parliament by 6am in time for the BBC Radio News. "Even Part-Time Workers will now be obliged to take jobs or lose all benefits for the rest of their lives". This is literally the shape of what they are doing right now.

But here's the Deal: This is all part of the Dreadful sounding 'Universal Benefit' plan, a plan so smooth running in respect of the way in which whole swathes of the populus can loose all state-benefits at the .... SWISH ... of a pen-stroke or ....SWISH.... of a keyboard click.

Now, this is tyranny. And I don't care what you stoolpigeons think about benefits, most of you are on them anyways, HB etc., but you're gonna need them for sure, and in a decent system of provision, for what is coming down the pipes in the next 3½ years in this country, is pure Feudalistic Tyranny.

They are not interested in your welfare, they are interested in your forced enslaveent, à-cause of the difficult economic times and financial crisis.

They want a war with the people. I suggest we take it to them soooner rather than later. But the organising of this won't and can't be done on the internet, for that is where all the intellligence and pre-crime activities are focussed.

EIRE STUDENTS DO IT DUB-STYLE

http://www.indymedia.ie/

'A 40,000 strong student protest against education cuts and increases in student fees ended in brutal clashes with the Gardai after an attempt to occupy the Department of Finance in Dublin on Wednesday (3rd). The protest was the largest student mobilisation in a generation as over 200 busloads descended on the capital from all over Ireland.

In what had been a largely peaceful march, with placards waving such messages as ‘Pay my fees or pay my dole’, things heated up when a 1000-strong breakaway group got closer to the Dail - the Irish parliament - chucking eggs and bottles. At around 2.30pm, around 50 students pushed past the Gardai into the Department of Finance building and staged a sit-in.

Both the students in the building and the several hundred outside were then subjected to the Gardai in full-on riot mode. Baton-happy cops began attacking protesters, some of whom were trampled and kicked by police horses and dragged by their hair.

Despite even the likes of the Belfast Telegraph taking a sympathetic line to the day’s events, the two-faced Union of Students in Ireland (USI) distanced itself from the occupiers and appeared to be siding with police. In a statement the Union claimed to be “saddened by the actions of a small minority”, who resorted to “anti-social behaviour”. All this came after the president of the USI had addressed the march saying “the sleeping giant that is the student movement has been awoken.”

He didn’t know how right he was.

Tory Rag the Telegraph claims Student tuition fee protests reminiscent of 1960s demonstration.

In an attempt to contemporize into zeitgeist and dilute into effiteness, events even they couldn't accurately predict, telegraph hard-done by writers take to the keyboards ...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/8125015/Student-tuition-fee-protests-reminiscent-of-1960s-demonstration.html

'The violent protest over tuition fees in London yesterday was a reminder of the 1968 student demonstrations which raged across the world and almost toppled a government/

Well let's hope not because I can tell you the anti-war demos of 1968 in this analy retentive country did absolutely nothing. I was only 12 but I know that bugger all changed.

It has to get much more serious, especially now.
This is the 21C and Globalisation and Post 9/11-TerrorState are shaping the horrors that confront us daily.

The 1960's were a hedonistic farce compared with what's required, you sillies.

 From ConservativeHomeBlogs.com. September 2006: -
http://conservativehome.blogs.com/torydiary/2006/09/cchq_may_move_t.html

CCHQ may move to birthplace of New Labour

'"The Conservative Party is believed to be days away from signing a deal to move its campaign headquarters to London’s Millbank Centre, the office complex from which the Labour Party plotted its landslide 1997 election victory, The Times has learnt."  If true, the deal had better be good because the symbolism is really unfortunate.'

September 23, 2006 at 07:55 in CCHQ |

hargh di hargh. Should have stayed where you were perhaps ....? And yes, quite symbolic of the way in which the mirrored attitudes of the British Ruling Class towards their slaves, ever more so today, leads to another common destination and destiny; - the one of destruction.

N.U.S Public statement:

It's Time MP's kept their promises:

"At the general election, Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg made a great deal of politicians needing to 'be more honest', and 'for promises to be kept'. The Liberal Democrats also suggested that a new 'right to recall' procedure should be introduced whereby MPs who break promises or are found guilty of impropriety should be vulnerable to a constituency petition of (10%) that MP would face an immediate by-election.

The 'right to recall' promise sadly itself represents another broken promise by the Liberal Democrats, and may never actually be introduced. However, in order to show the strength of feeling by the voting public against those MPs who vote for the raising of University tuition fees and/ or for the scrapping of the Education Maintenance Allowance, we ask you to sign up to call for them to be recalled – this way, perhaps this broken promise can be put to some use
!'

University Tuition Fees:

'The coalition Government is proposing to triple university fees- despite the fact that the coalition agreement agreed to judge the Browne review of fees against the "impact" on student debt. At the election:

Lib Dems promised to "Scrap Tuition Fees", and to "Resist, Vote Against, Campaign Against any lifting of that cap". Now they propose the opposite. Worst of all, they promised an end to "broken promises" if they were elected.

Conservatives said that a fee rise could only be justified if students and parents could be shown that they would get "a better student quality student experience". Even after fees are paid they are proposing 40% cuts in the universities budget- students will pay more for less.

Pink Floyd Star's Son Held Over Student Protest

Charles Gilmour. (Roger Waters must be turning in his grave ... no hang on, he's still alive)

Police arrested the son of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour on Sunday after he was photographed climbing a war memorial during violent student protests.

THE NUS state categorically that these off-shot demos were not NUS organised.
http://www.nus.org.uk/en/News/News/NUS-consistently-condemns-violent-protest-whilst-calling-for-full-investigation-into-police-tactics/

Pictures of 21-year-old Charlie Gilmour swinging from the national flag on the Cenotaph ran in many British newspapers.

Police said a 21-year-old man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of violent disorder, theft and "attempted criminal damage of the Union flag on the Cenotaph."

The arrest took place in Sussex, where Gilmour lives.

British police do not usually name suspects until they are charged.

Cambridge University student Gilmour issued a public apology Friday, saying he felt "nothing but shame" for his behavior.

I wonder if his Dad can handle it ... ?

Our Personal Two-Tenners contact, at Friday's demos, reports that to avoid the sounding of 'The Division Bell', Young Gilmour Text messaged his Dad after the event and attempted to put this 'Momentary lapse of reason' down to the influence of 'The Dark Side ...', adding as an afterthought 'Wish you were Here' as he signed off.

His Father, legendary Guitarist with the Floyd told the press that his son's motives were 'Obscured by Clouds' and told us he was taking his family out of the spotlight for a few days and away for a holiday 'On an Island', until things cooled. [humour]

Gilmour Remembers well the story his old mate Roger Waters told him regarding the meaning of the lyrics to 'Us and Them' from the Dark Side of the Moon, a tip of the old hat to Veterans of Previous Wars who ran out of bullets on the Battlefield, and Gilmour consistently holds that it is not his duty to deny his son the right to 'Meddle' in Politics.

Gilmour added that he didn't want the incident at the Cenotaph to become yet another 'Brick in The Wall' further spoiling or jarring his already Oedipal relationship with his very attractive Stepmother....!

Charlie Gilmour when asked to comment on Police behaviour at the Student Demonstrations on Fridday would add only one comment '... Animals ....' he said.!

Can't argue with that ....

Student fees protest: lawyers launch legal challenge to kettling

http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2010/dec/14/student-fees-protest-kettling-human-rights

Students enjoying some 'Festive-Fayre' during a tea-break, debate with police over heavy-handed tactics ...

"Lawyers have launched a legal challenge to the police tactic of kettling during recent student demonstrations, claiming a breach of human rights.

The lawyers, acting for five of the thousands of demonstrators penned in by police last Thursday, have written to the commissioner for the Metropolitan police, Sir Paul Stephenson, arguing that kettling breaches European human rights legislation
...

[...]"

"Stephenson said he had been "stripping London out" to police the protests, adding that almost 3,000 officers were deployed last Thursday. The Met had ruled out using water cannon three years ago, but was taking advice from colleagues in Northern Ireland about whether they could be used in London.

Senior officers would consider asking the home secretary to ban forthcoming marches."

In actual point of fact MI5 have been in charge of National Security in Northern Ireland since 2006.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/5050002.stm

And as we know, under 'Resilience', that's National Security and Resilience as defined in the new 2008 NSS, National Security Strategy, the co-operation of the emergency services with MoD, in interest of maintainance of National Security issues, when confronted with such as Civil Disobedience or Civil Disorder, is expected to be thorough.

In other words, the State is now worried that the continued 'resilience' of the students in this most horrific of weather conditions could easily be stirring feelings of discontent with the 'Government of the day', in the public's heart, and at large ...

And in not so many words .... "We haven't seen anything yet" because the MoD have also outlined in their 'Flashmobs' article in the Guardian, that they fully expect, indeed seemingly want to public to get very, very angry indeed ....

Well, seeing as how MoD knew in advance about the False-Flag Swine-Flu débacle of 2009, it is most likely they have a vested interest, considering 'the cuts' also affecting MoD deeply too now, in trying to remain highly influential in the political arena ...

Indeed, 'Armaggedon' would be their greatest playing card.

.... Besides, you don't need a degree to figure out that if only 1/10th of what is projected by the CFR, UN and the Climate Change lobby plus Globalisation agenda ... were true, (ie the publicly announced 'Georgia Guidestones' policy of 80% reduction in World Population as soon as scientifically or methodically possible), ... to figure out that you're going to have one feck of a lot of rioting to deal with on unprecendented scales, and worldwide, before you can count from 10 to 1 ..

Just a thought for all sentient human life to be meditating on ....

Me ... I'm holding out for Armaggedon ... by far the sturdier bet ....

13th December. London.
I think something very big is going to happen, let's face it, in this country. I've known it all along with these demos.

I think this year some of the seeds of The Greatest Bank Robbery of all time will emerge. Now that the memories of the real cause of all our woes, and that we are back into the matrix playing Red Team versus Blue Team. They seem to want to re-run some of the scripts from the 1970's, in particular they, the state media, the BBC single handed resserected the NeoNazis...

I expect late summer will be particuarlly warm as the rioters ignite the odd city.

Real world update:

http://jam.canoe.ca/Music/2011/01/27/17064506-wenn-story.html

The adopted son of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour has been charged with two offences after he was caught on camera clambering all over a war memorial during London's student riots in December.

Police spotted Charlie Gilmour swinging from a flag pole on the Cenotaph - one of the U.K.'s most important memorials - during a violent student protest against a rise in university tuition fees.

He apologized for his "moment of idiocy" but was arrested at his home in Sussex, England three days after the incident and questioned by police.

The 21-year-old was subsequently freed on bail but on Thursday Gilmour was charged with violent disorder and theft of a mannequin leg.

He will appear at the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court in London for sentencing on February 10.

Charlie was adopted by the Pink Floyd legend when the rocker married his mother Polly Samson in 1994.

His famous father revealed his son is "thoroughly ashamed of himself" days after the incident.

-----------------

He's from Oxford University. He should do alright, after all David Cameron, and other Oxford Alumni, once venerable members of Oxford Union's 'Bullingham Club' used to do a lot more criminal damage on a night out on the town; although admittedly that wasn't to the Cenotaph Memorial.
