what about using sea salt ?

I assume it is healthy
or at least healthier than regular table salt.

And just a comment :
It  seems terribly wasteful to put 2.5 lbs of salt into a bathtub of water
just to attempt to "detox" my body.

I'd appreciate your thoughts about this.

Sea salt is great and absolutely much better for you than table salt that has been processed.  I also like Himalayan salt too.

As far as putting salt in a bathtub I would certainly use Epsom salt.  Epsom salt is far cheaper to use than sea salt.
