This was one of the books that woke me up. Shows how Iraq, and Afghanistan were a lie from the beginning and more about oil, pipelines, control over resources than a real threat. Remember the Cheney Energy Task Force? Cheney had mapped out Iraqi oil months into the first Bush administration and prior to invading Iraq. They just had to have a boogeyman (which 911 became) to justify going into Iraq and Afghanistan. Quite interesting when you pair this book with others you read.

It's shameful that people, who call themselves leaders, lie to go to war where our soldiers die for a false cause! I think our soldiers deserve better treatment and to be told the truth about why they fight and who they are fighting for.
