Title: Senate's Rigged Passage of S.510 Most Restrictive Yet Against Health Freedom Post by: Optimus on December 01, 2010, 10:22:48 am U.S. Passes Most Restrictive Legislation Yet Against Health Freedom (http://www.infowars.com/u-s-passes-most-restrictive-legislation-yet-against-health-freedom/) (http://static.infowars.com/2010/11/i/article-images/fda.jpg) PreventDisease (http://preventdisease.com/news/10/120110_US_passes_s510.shtml) December 1, 2010 The United States Senate has passed the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (S.510) (http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d111:SN00510:@@@L&summ2=m&) yesterday by a vote of 73 to 25 demonstrating a clear mandate to destroy health freedom in America. The House of Representatives approved a different version of the food safety bill in 2009; however, the bill’s sponsor Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) said the House has agreed to adopt the Senate version, bypassing the need for a conference to integrate the two bills. Once approved, the bill will move on to President Barack Obama for his signature. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will now have more power to police all food companies under the bill. It gives the FDA unprecedented powers to preclude the public’s right to grow, own, trade, transport, share, feed and eat each and every food that nature makes. The bill will now: - end United States sovereignty over its own food supply by insisting on compliance with the WTO, thus threatening national security. - allow the government, under Maritime Law, to define the introduction of any food into commerce (even direct sales between individuals) as smuggling into “the United States.” - impose Codex Alimentarius on the US, a global system of control over food. It allows the United Nations (UN), World Health Organization (WHO), UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the WTO to take control of every food on earth and remove access to natural food supplements. - remove the right to clean, store and thus own seed in the US, putting control of seeds in the hands of Monsanto and other multinationals, threatening US security. - allow the government to mandate antibiotics, hormones, slaughterhouse waste, pesticides and GMOs. - use food crimes as the entry into police state power and control. The bill postpones defining all the regulations to be imposed; postpones defining crimes to be punished, postpones defining penalties to be applied. It removes fundamental constitutional protections from all citizens in the country, making them subject to a corporate tribunal with unlimited power and penalties, and without judicial review. It is (similar to C-36 (http://preventdisease.com/news/10/110810_health_freedom.shtml) in Canada) the end of Rule of Law in the US. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7_0HlCwb8A Bill S. 510 essentially will strengthen all the forces that have led to the consolidation of the food supply in the hands of a few industrial food producers, while definitively harming small producers who give consumers the choice to buy fresh and health local foods. Here are the names of the 73 US Senators who sold out the American public’s right to grow and sell crops from their own gardens and farms without government oversight, regulation or permission. http://www.infowars.com/hapless-senator-admits-obvious-political-process-a-rigged-game/ Kurt Nimmo Infowars.com November 30, 2010 Colorado Democrat Senator Michael Bennet made the mistake of admitting what many of us already know – the political process in the district of criminals is a rigged game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aDZy6zWeio&feature=player_embedded “It’s all rigged. The whole conversation is rigged,” said Bennet over an open C-Span mic during debate on the Food Safety Act. “The fact that we don’t get to a discussion before the break about what we’re going to do in the lame duck. It’s just rigged.” Soon after Bennet made his comment, an aide realized the C-Span microphone was open and switched it off. Senate floor microphones are usually turned off during debate. Bennet Chief of Staff Guy Cecil told The Daily Caller that the senator stands by his comments. “The whole process being rigged against having a real conversation about tax cuts, the estate tax and the defense authorization. We’re not having a lot of those conversations. It’s just a symptom of Washington being broken,” Cecil said outside the Senate chamber. The political process is not broken. It is working exactly as the elite want. Taxes, defense authorization, and virtually every other political issue taken up by Congress is decided by the financial elite well before it is discussed on the Senate floor. Congress is a dog and pony show designed to make the plebs believe they live in a democracy where they actually have a say. “While people have recognized for more than 150 years that the rich and powerful often corrupt individual officials, or exert undue influence to get legislation passed that favors their interests, most Americans still cling to the naive belief that such corruption is exceptional, and that most of the institutions of society, the courts, the press, and law enforcement agencies, still largely comply with the Constitution and the law in important matters,” the Constitution Society noted in 1994. They expect that these corrupting forces are disunited and in competition with one another, so that they tend to balance one another…. Mounting evidence makes it clear that the situation is far worse than most people think, that during the last several decades the U.S. Constitution has been effectively overthrown, and that it is now observed only as a façade to deceive and placate the masses. What has replaced it is what many call the Shadow Government. It still, for the most part, operates in secret, because its control is not secure. Occasionally the shadowy machinations of the secret government and the elite are exposed, as in the case of Michael Bennet’s comments. The corporate media, of course, ignored Bennet’s comment. The Washington Examiner and the Grand Junction Sentinel reported the story, but across the corporate media the story received a stony silence. Instead of reporting how the political system really works, the corporate media continues to orchestrate high-tech bread and circuses and high definition distractions. Take into consideration the attack on persons with farms, 6 fruit trees or more (California) and the Amish = serious. Time to repeal this stupid legislation. How can they tout "scarcity" and at the same time, prevent self-sufficiency. Obviously they are so "elite" they are out-of-touch with reality and think eggs come from the help's silver plate. They have become madmen in their seriously unreal lifestyle & environment. Love, e |
