Title: FOX NEWS: Rockefeller wants to Rein them in cause of Glenn Beck's Panicky Mouth?
Post by: Jonnie Goodboy on November 20, 2010, 02:27:05 pm
In the swirly-headed emporium of embellished personal smeers that is the personality obsessing cult of the North-American Chat-show host, why does Senator J. Rockefeller see it as wise and desirable to 'shutdown' or more probably rein-in FOX, MSNBC and others? Could it be because of the latent threat these channels are perceived to pose, with Beck and what's his name from the other channel, Keith Olbermann, that's it. These channels do have immense viewing figures, way beyond anything or anybody else .. since they are MSM. Or is this whole argument just a straw man argument? Is Rockefeller really worried by the threat a disgruntled Beck may pose?
Hard to believe but there has to be an explanation somewhere ... Try this ...

"Reporters will no longer seek fame and fortune by feeding out of the hands of political operatives and impersonating fortunetellers on TV. They'll see themselves as public servants instead of media stars. Anonymous sources who peddle bogus information will be exposed. Fact will drive opinion rather than vice versa. Correspondents and commentators who traffic in falsehoods and imaginary conspiracies will be driven from the profession.

When we already know that Beck is more concerned with preserving his substantial personal wealth from the now realized threat of the immensely greedy and encroaching TAX-MAN, than speaking out for the sake of it ...
