Panorama - The Secrets of Scientology

Available for 6 days from 29th Sept, 2010.

Brits! Remember John Sweeney's intrepid confrontation with 'The Church of Scientology' back in 2007?
(http://juntawatch.ukginger.net/images/bbcshot043.jpg) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxqR5NPhtLI)

Well the big mans' back with new help from the now defected former Church's Chief of 'The Office of Special Affairs' and also defected former Grand Inquisitor to the very Tom Cruise & John Travolta.

Plenty of 'Illuminatus' wishlist style icon worship and imagery within this organisation, as seen in the docu.

L Ron Hubbards' belief system these people claim has been hijacked by an all too very American surveillance & snooping culture. John Sweeney was renowned for exploding in front of a picture of the Twin Towers burning inside the Church's 'Museum of Death'. Now the former Grand Inquistor and chief of Scientology Security admit that he was led into this reaction, psychologically.

Sweeney: "Did [he] want this to happen?"

Former Grand Inquisitor:
"Most definitely"
"A set up is probably the wrong word, it was Tommy intention to provoke a reaction like that"

Charles Hendry now UK MINISTER FOR CLIMATE CHANGE is seen in the next shot promoting the Church of Scientology in the House of Commons.

20 hits in 20 minutes! Mostly it would appear from Church-sponsored Web Monkeys and Bots trawling for mentions of 'the church' in order that they may immediately facilitate targetted pro-church promotional advertising. That's what Google Ads is all about.

Let's add too:

Hollywood Celebrities are 'spoilt rotten' by the Church according to defector Jason Beghe, onetime star of 'GI Jane' (Dir Ridley Scott, — 'Alien') and 'Thelma and Louise'.

Still adherent John Travolta starred in a 2000 Hollywood version of Scientology's 'founder' L. Ron Hubbard's 1982 Sci-Fi masterwork 'Battlefield Earth' directed by Roger Christian also Director of 'Aliens', the 2nd part of the 4 part sequel. I think I have that all right. I'm reading 'Battlefield Earth' at present. It's a good romp, and well written.  L. Ron was undoubtedly one of the architects of Sci-Fi, with a proper understanding of and accurately defining the genre. But perhaps he should have stuck to writing and not to seeking immortality through what would undeniably become a 'Rotten, Corrupt & Sinister' cult.

'Battlefield earth' is a story about an alien colonised Earth in the yr 3000 turned into a mining outpost where a near solitary & all but de-civilised human survivor Jonnie Goodboy Tyler forms a resistance movement to re-unite the few remaining humans and reclaim the planet. I haven't gotten far into it yet; it's well over a 1000 pages in small print paperback!

Hubbard died in 1986, long before these shenaneggans began. But the cult is organised around a belief system of 1000-year reincarnation & that seems to involve UFO mythology as placed in the modern zeitgeist.

And from there in it just gets more interesting. Former & 33yr long Church member, Larry Anderson, actor inStar-Trek 'INSURRECTION', one of the latest offerings, was, before he left, the PR face & voice that welcomed new or prospective members to the Church of Scientology.

I have wondered about, for at least 10 seconds of my valuable time, of the intrinsic value to the Church of Scientology of the 'bad-press' (there's no promotional publicity like bad press) and its distraction value, as readers here no doubt see it, from the all important backburner issues, like Tea-parties, the dying embers of the US Constitution and Ron Paul, and I wonder if the former may exceed any negative image to Scientology conjured up by these two BBC Documentaries, separated by 3-yrs as they are.

But then again, I've been brainwashed by 'too much contact'.

Is this Church even as it says 'the fastest growing religion in the world'?

ForeignPolicy.com and other sites reflect a list like this, of groups some of which profess to be the world's fastest,
— that's fastest land dwelling, and er, growing religion(s).

Islam

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Growth rate*: 1.84 percent

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adherents: 1.3 billion

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bahaism

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Growth rate: 1.70 percent

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adherents: 7.7 million

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sikhism

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Growth rate: 1.62 percent

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adherents: 25.8 million

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jainism

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Growth rate: 1.57 percent

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adherents: 5.9 million

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hinduism

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Growth rate: 1.52 percent

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adherents: 870 million

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Christianity

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Growth rate: 1.38 percent

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adherents: 2.2 billion

But UFO-based cult believers are probably quite low down the list, and 'I should know'. (sicco)

Saw this documentary
and must admit
that Scientology has done wonders for
Kirstie Alley's appearance.

I have known about this destructive cult almost since its formation.
Fits right into the NWO's despicable plan.

I, too, have an original paperback copy of BATTLEFIELD EARTH.

Time for me to read it, my friend.
