OK Dok, assignment complete. ::) I stand by my original statement that the article is a DEFENSE of Beza's conjecture, not a refutation that he made a conjecture. The whole article is a conjecture about a conjecture. How does that refute the fact that the KJV text was translated from a conjecture rather than actual words contained in actual mss?

I ONLY use the KJV 1611 as

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

and would not listen to or accept a challenge to defend my choice as I have settled the matter by prayer and believe that a foundation should be solid and not subject to modern changes

my opinion of modern changes is that they are made only with intent to obscure the message and lead readers further and more helplessly from the truth

I will not take from anyone their right to use whatever they chose for themselves,
but for me its 1611 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

and 300 years later in 1911 another perfection was made  ;D

"Modern translations" is a relative term. The KJV was both modern and controversial in its day. The irony of your argument is that the modern translations incorporate the oldest mss which the KJV rejects. I'm sure you have no quarrel with the concept of the recovery of truth. That is what the reformation was all about and subsequent movements in church history as well. What we need is to recover all the truth of the NT church possible. If ancient mss help in this quest, why not use them?

Hi Rosswell,

I didn't think I was arguing, rather I believe I was accepting others choice while declaring mine,

as to mss help in a quest, I don't have "a" quest, for me it is settled, KVJ 1611 is my foundation as much as any temporal item can be,  after which I use 1828 and the two together help in "question" matters  :)

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.

Time (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntm1YfehK7U)

And then one day you find
Ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run
You missed the starting gun

And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
